Drake – Anamoose:

New year, new officers- say hello to the 2026-2027 Drake-Anamoose High School FBLA officer team! This team is a powerhouse: Mason Shuch as president, Kalleen Lowe as vice president, Edan Mayer as secretary, Jacob Kimpbull as treasurer, Ashlynn Kromrey as public relations, Jayden Ehrman as social media, and Jude Dieterle as parliamentarian.

This year, officers went on an FBLA officer training retreat in Bismarck, ND, to discuss their goals and plans for the year while also growing closer as a team. The officers talked about the coffee shop, new rules, and the opportunities they could offer members, aiming high to improve their chapter from decoration to function, creating a new clock-in system for their coffee shop simulating a real barista’s job.

The first FBLA meeting was held on August 20th. During this first meeting, Barbie Martin came in to give a speech relating to their newest fundraiser, Pampered Chef, before the officers explained what FBLA is and what has changed for new and existing members. Needless to say, these officers are excited to serve their members and support their community. From the Drake-Anamoose High School officers: Have a fantastic school year!​

Glen Ullin:

Our chapter held our annual meeting for prospective students. We played different icebreaker games and explained what FBLA involves and We elected our officers and they are busy organizing our first member meeting. We are looking forward to our Fall Leadership conference in Bismarck.

Hatton/Northwood:

We had 2 officer training meetings. Created our Program of Work, and it’s ready for submission to the Champion Chapter; we gave a copy to our members and prospective members. We have 9 out of the 13 Summer Starter requirements completed. We will have all of them completed by the submission date. We had 2 recruitment meetings and had 10 new members in High School so far. Goals for the year have been set.Have our Community Service Project idea and chair people. During our officer training meeting, we came up with goals for the year, what to do for the Community Service Project, recruitment meeting ideas, and worked on Champion chapter. Created a recruitment PowerPoint to Where Leaders Begin and presented it to prospective members at our Recruitment Meeting. Created a Blooket for our September meeting about FBLA. We played the cup game at our recruitment meeting to make it fun for the members. Delivered our sports calendars to around 40 of them. Came up with our T-shirt design and are getting ready to print it when we have all our members signed up. Created a potential list of sponsors for our organization. Composed an email for all our returning members to join FBLA again this year. Created our budget for the year.

Linton:

During the month of August the Linton FBLA chapter met with our officer team to discuss goals for the year and our Program of Work. They also decided on our Fall fundraising activities, and chose activities for Champion Chapter to work on. The officers brainstormed ideas for our first recruitment meeting and decided to have Crumbl cookies with the theme “Sweeten Your Future” as the theme. This meeting will be on September 1st.

Our Redeemer’s Christian:

Mrs. Hoffman ordered pizza and snacks for the officer team. After everyone enjoyed dinner after various sports practices, the team got down to business to work on our Program of Work. We planned out various activities to align with Champion Chapter schedules, such as guest speakers, business tours, and activities with potential middle school students interested in joining FBLA next school year. We planned out our bake sales for fundraising this school year, planned study nights and opportunities for chapter bonding. This was a VERY productive meeting and got us all hyped and excited for this season!!

Red River:

Red River High School’s FBLA chapter got things started with a bang in July! Our chapter went bowling at Red Ray Lanes in Grand Forks and made some memories. We also got out our summer greeting cards to “Welcome Back” our returning members! Our leadership council met recently, and we are putting the finishing touches on our chapter’s mission and vision statements! We are looking forward to a great year with FBLA!

Stanley:

Stanley FBLA started the school year running! During the month of August, our chapter held two Friday morning meetings, continuing a tradition that has helped keep our members connected and informed. Meetings and chapter events are scheduled through the Heja app, allowing members to easily stay up to date, while attendance is also tracked through the app. Our new officers were selected for the 2026–2027 school year, and our chapter has already welcomed nine new members.

Our members wasted no time getting involved. On the first Friday back at school, Stanley FBLA sold lemonade at the first home football game of the season. With only a couple of days to plan, members stepped up to make the event happen. The fundraiser was a success, with the chapter selling lemonade until we had only seven lemons remaining—and we had to stop because we ran out of ice!

During the second week of school, our officers organized an FBLA recruitment booth during lunch. Officers enthusiastically shared information about FBLA, encouraged students to join, and helped introduce new students to the opportunities FBLA provides. Their initiative and enthusiasm have already helped create excitement around FBLA as we begin the new school year.

With nine new members, an active group of officers, and a strong start to the year, Stanley FBLA is looking forward to an exciting and successful 2026–2027 school year!

 

Wishek:

We held our chapter kick-off meeting with pizza and information about FLC and the coming year. We had 17 members attend and we did some planning for fundraising, community service/AHA, and other things. We are excited for the year ahead.
