As SLC approaches, knowing what to pack is a great way to stay organized. What do you pack, and how should you pack it? The North Dakota State Officer team is here to tell you! As future business leaders, it is necessary to look sharp and professional. All conference activities are business attire based on the FBLA Dress Code. Here are a few tips when packing business attire:

• When packing pants, fold them in half and lay them flat so they don’t get wrinkled. 

• Pack your shoes inside a shoe bag.

• If you’re traveling with a suit or gown, do not roll it. Hang it up in a garment bag. If your suit or gown does happen to form wrinkles, most hotels have an iron and ironing board. 

Here are a few other packing reminders:

• You’ll want to bring comfy clothes to change into for the ride home and chapter activities. 

• If you are walking to the conference from your hotel, make sure to bring a pair of comfortable shoes to walk in.

• Don’t forget to bring a device for online testing and chargers for all your electronics, adapters, as well as all the materials needed for your events. 

• Bring a water bottle! Staying hydrated is key. 

• Snacks to have in your hotel room.

•  Last but not least, make sure to bring your “A game”!
